Cambridge 2030 Fund

Help us build a fairer Cambridge for every young person

Cambridge is a city of contrasts. Alongside world-leading universities and a booming knowledge economy, some communities, particularly in King's Hedges and Arbury in North Cambridge, face deep inequalities in income, education, health, and access to opportunity.

The Cambridge 2030 Fund, managed by Cambridgeshire Community Foundation in partnership with Cambridge 2030, aims to change that.

Please donate today and help give young people in North Cambridge the chance to build a purposeful and fulfilling future.

About the Fund

The aim of the Cambridge 2030 Fund is to support organisations and projects that deliver a more equal and inclusive city where everyone can achieve sustained happiness and wellbeing.

The Fund focuses on priorities identified for King's Hedges and Arbury in North Cambridge and is open to not-for-profit organisations working across the Cambridge City region.

Cambridge 2030 brings together the public and private sectors with charities and community interest organisations in collaborative action to bridge gaps in provision and resources and deliver a city where opportunity is available to all, regardless of background or postcode.

What we fund

The Cambridge 2030 Fund supports not-for-profit organisations providing:

  • Therapeutic support for children, young people, and their families
  • Bespoke mentoring, skills development, role models, careers guidance, and employment opportunities for young people
  • Enrichment opportunities including trips, clubs, and experiences that build confidence, social skills, and cultural capital

Grants range from £1,000 to £5,000.

 The difference your support makes

Donations to the Cambridge 2030 Fund help us support organisations delivering real, lasting change, including:

  • Improved social, emotional, and mental health in children and young people
  • Better skills development and employment outcomes for young people in North Cambridge
  • Increased community participation and local ownership of change
  • A reduction in the proportion of 18–25 year olds who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET)
  • An increase in the number of economically active people in the area
